AZ health and fitness treatment personnel want action against omicron

A team of Arizona overall health treatment personnel and advocates is contacting on the condition to take urgent action in addressing a mounting variety of COVID-19 infections and what they say is a collapsing overall health care program.

Leading on their record: statewide vaccine and mask mandates, and a prohibition on big gatherings.

At minimum 1,100 Arizona overall health professionals, together with doctors, nurses and caregivers, have signed an open letter to Gov. Doug Ducey, health care leaders and condition and county officials asking for fast action, which include plan modifications, in get to combat the hottest omicron-fueled surge of COVID-19 cases in the condition.

“Without having instant action and intervention, the impending omicron surge will bring about lots of preventable fatalities, for equally individuals contaminated with COVID-19 and these seeking treatment for nonCOVID life-threatening sicknesses,” the letter claims.
